Private Chef & Personal Chef Services

Private Chef in Los Angeles — Your Personal Italian Chef, On Demand

Looking to hire a private chef in Los Angeles? I bring restaurant-level Italian cuisine into your own home, cooked fresh, plated with care, and built entirely around your table, your guests, and your occasion.

Whether you need a private chef for a single evening or a personal chef for an ongoing weekly service, I offer both. A romantic dinner for two, an intimate celebration, a large event for 200 guests, or a recurring weekly meal plan for your family: every experience is built from scratch, never off a fixed menu.

I am based in Los Angeles and regularly work across Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Pasadena, and Woodland Hills, extending throughout Orange County (including San Juan Capistrano) and Ventura County (including Westlake Village and Thousand Oaks).

Every menu is authentic, seasonal Italian cuisine, prepared entirely from scratch with premium ingredients, sourced with the same standards I learned growing up between Bologna and Naples.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

The terms are often used interchangeably, but there is a practical difference. A private chef is typically hired for a specific occasion, such as a romantic dinner, a birthday, or a corporate event. A personal chef refers to an ongoing, recurring arrangement, such as a weekly meal service. I offer both: one-time private chef bookings for events and celebrations, plus a dedicated weekly personal chef package for households who want fresh Italian dinners at home every week.

Pricing depends on the type of service. As a general guide: romantic dinners for two start from $145 per person, culinary parties start from $125 per person, large events start from $115 per person, and the weekly personal chef package starts from $115 per person per dinner. These are chef service starting rates; food, beverages, and any rental equipment are quoted separately for full transparency. See my Rates page for details.

Yes. In addition to Los Angeles and its surrounding communities, including Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Pasadena, and Woodland Hills, I regularly work throughout Orange County, including San Juan Capistrano and Newport Beach, and Ventura County, including Westlake Village and Thousand Oaks. I am also available further afield across Southern California with advance notice.

It depends on the occasion. A romantic dinner is designed for two, culinary parties typically host 4 to 30 guests, and large events can accommodate anywhere from 20 to 200 guests. Whatever the size, each menu is built specifically for that group.

Both. Most clients start with a one-time private dinner or event, and some later move to the weekly personal chef package for an ongoing Italian meal service at home. There is no obligation to commit to a recurring arrangement; book whichever fits your life right now.

I come to you. Every private chef experience takes place in your own home or chosen venue, so there is no restaurant reservation, no crowd, and no commute — just a fully private dining room wherever you already are.

The chef's professional service fee covers menu design, preparation, cooking, plating, and full kitchen clean-up afterward. Food and beverage costs, transportation, and any special rental equipment are itemized separately in your quote, so you always know exactly what you are paying for.

A restaurant seats you among other guests with a fixed menu, and a catering company typically drops off food prepared elsewhere. A private chef experience is different on both counts: the menu is designed specifically for you, everything is cooked fresh in your own home, and the evening is entirely private from the first course to the last.
